Welcome to TechPL (www.techpl.org). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About TechPL

TechPL is a section of KIGEiT (Krajowa Izba Gospodarcza Elektroniki i Telekomunikacji), a Polish national chamber of commerce for electronics and telecommunications. TechPL serves as the strategic voice of the Polish technology ecosystem.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a legal guardian
  • Agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations
  • Understand that these Terms constitute a legally binding agreement

3. Use of the Website

3.1 Permitted Use

You may use our website to:

  • Browse information about TechPL, its mission, members, events, and policy positions
  • Submit membership applications
  • Submit event proposals
  • Endorse policy positions
  • Nominate role models for Project Poland

3.2 Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its systems
  • Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data without permission

4. User Submissions

4.1 Forms and Applications

When you submit information through our forms (membership applications, event submissions, endorsements, nominations), you:

  • Confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete
  • Grant TechPL the right to use the submitted information for its stated purposes
  • Understand that submission does not guarantee acceptance or action

4.2 Endorsements

By endorsing a policy position, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood the position paper
  • You support its strategic recommendations
  • You authorize TechPL to record and, if you opt in, publicly display your endorsement

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of TechPL / KIGEiT or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

5.2 Limited License

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written consent
  • Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without authorization
  • Create derivative works based on our content

5.3 Position Papers

TechPL policy position papers and briefings may be shared and referenced for non-commercial purposes, provided proper attribution is given to TechPL.

6. Membership

6.1 Application

Membership applications are subject to review and approval by TechPL and KIGEiT. Submission of an application does not guarantee membership.

6.2 Fees

Membership fees are determined according to the KIGEiT fee structure, based on organization size (employee count and annual revenue). Current fee schedules are available on the membership page.

6.3 Obligations

Members agree to:

  • Pay applicable membership fees in a timely manner
  • Comply with KIGEiT and TechPL bylaws and regulations
  • Act in good faith and in the interest of the Polish technology ecosystem

7. Events

7.1 Event Submissions

Event submissions are subject to review. TechPL reserves the right to accept or reject any event submission at its discretion.

7.2 Event Participation

Participation in TechPL events may be subject to additional terms, registration requirements, or fees as specified for each event.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

This website is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechPL, KIGEiT, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
